The aims and objectives of the Kent Bar Mess are:
(a) to promote and represent the professional interests of its members;
(b) to assist with consultation undertaken in connection with the law and/or the legal profession;
(c) to provide information and/or assistance in matters of professional training, behaviour and continuing professional development;
(d) to promote and maintain the highest professional standards in the practice of law;
(e) to liaise with the judiciary in Kent over matters of mutual concern and interest; and
(f) to provide opportunities for social exchange involving members and others concerned with the practice of law.
